Betty Chu

Betty Chu was first elected to the Monterey Park City Council in 2003 and served as Mayor in 2006. She was re-elected to her second term as Council Member in 2009. Prior to her service as Council Member, Betty Chu was appointed as the first Chairperson of the Monterey Park Human Relations Commission and also served on the City’s Recreation and Parks Commission and the Economic Development Task Force.
