MPK-TV program schedule for the week of August 29, 2010
For a sampling of MPK-TV programming, please visit our YouTube site. Council meetings, due to their longer length, are not available on YouTube. (This is an external site and some content is not controlled by the City of Monterey Park.)
MPK-TV is the City of Monterey Park's government access T.V. channel which airs on Charter Communications' cable TV (ch 3) and AT&T's U-verse (ch 99) systems. Operated by city staff with equipment at City Hall, MPK-TV provides live coverage of the City Council meetings and coverage of special events.
Regular City Council meetings are usually held on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 7 pm in the city hall council chamber. City Council meetings are aired live and replayed several times during the week during morning, afternoon, evening and late night hours for viewer convenience.
In addition to live-action programming, an electronic bulletin board (EBB) system communicates messages of interest to the Monterey Park community.
For the most up-to-date programming information, please tune to MPK-TV and look for the program guide page among the EBB messages.
MPK-TV does not accept paid advertising from for-profit organizations, but does make available its EBB system to qualified Monterey Park based non-profit, schools and other governmental groups to advertise their community events on a case-by-case basis.
To request placement of your non-profit message, please download and complete a MPK-TV request form. This form is still valid even though it states our old name of Ch55.
