The Public Works Department is responsible for providing and maintaining the City's infrastructure in a manner that ensures the health, safety, and welfare of the City's residents and visitors.

This includes the planning, design, construction, maintenance and operations of public land, including parks, roadways, sidewalks, sewers and storm drains; public buildings and structures; water production, storage and delivery facilities; and the repair and maintenance of City vehicles and equipment.

The Public Works Department is made up of four divisions: Engineering, Water Utility, Maintenance Services and Parks.
