General Festival Information
This year the City of Monterey Park will host the Chinese New Year Festival, offering traditional entertainment and food. Children will enjoy an activities area and petting zoo. Performances at the festival include Ribbon, Fan, Lantern, Lion and Dragon Dance; Sichuan face change acrobat, karaoke, Chinese acrobats, Chinese musical performances and Martial Arts Demonstrations, Live Music and more.
The 2010 event will be held in Barnes Park (350 S. McPherrin Ave.) Saturday hours: 12 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.,
